Softball Recap: Aquinas Comes Up Short

Aquinas saw some tournament action on Saturday. They lost 13-3 to the Skutt Catholic SkyHawks.

Grace Masek and Bailee Hough stepped up to the plate in a big way. Masek went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles and one RBI, while Hough went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run. Those doubles were Masek's first of the season.

Aquinas has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Skutt Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.

Aquinas has already played their next match (against Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Skutt Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-5 victory against Bishop Neumann on the 6th.
