Basketball Game Preview: Berkeley Yellowjackets vs. Miramonte Matadors

Berkeley hasn't had much luck against Miramonte recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Yellowjackets will be home for the holidays to greet the Matadors at 6:30 p.m.

Berkeley blew Skyline out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Skyline got their revenge. The Yellowjackets fell just short of the Titans by a score of 54-51.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Miramonte). They blew past Montgomery, posting a 61-17 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Matadors as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Miramonte now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Berkeley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
