Santa Maria lost against Nipomo two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Santa Maria Saints fell to the Nipomo Titans 47-41.

Brianna Hill and Aaliyah Juarez certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Hill dropped a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Juarez almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine boards. Juarez has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jackelyn Quebrado, who posted five points and three steals.

Santa Maria has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-17 record this season. As for Nipomo, their record is now 12-14.
