Softball Recap: East Marshall Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

East Marshall had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against the South Tama County Trojans as they made off with an 11-1 win. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

East Marshall's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for South Tama County, they dropped their record down to 1-15 with the loss, which was their 23rd straight on the road dating back to last season.

East Marshall didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Pleasantville on the 21st. As for South Tama County, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against West Delaware at 5:30 p.m.
