It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Golden had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Coronado Cougars as they made off with a 4-1 win. The result was nothing new for Golden, who have now won six matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Golden is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those eight matchups. As for Coronado, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7-1.
