Softball Recap: Ridge View Comes Up Short

Ridge View came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 13-2 to the Newell-Fonda Mustangs. The Raptors haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Ridge View's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Newell-Fonda, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridge View will square off against Lawton-Bronson at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Newell-Fonda, they will face off against Storm Lake St. Mary at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
