Basketball Recap: Reynolds Takes a Loss

Reynolds was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Lakeview Sailors 61-25. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 55-20 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Reynolds now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lakeview, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Reynolds and Commodore Perry will round out the year against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders' defense better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 51.3 points per game this season. As for Lakeview, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Cranberry Area at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
