St. Clair not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 29-11). Everything went their way against the Cuba Wildcats as they made off with a 22-12 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their two-run performance the matchup before.
Macy Naes was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with four stolen bases, four runs, and three RBI. Gabrielle Coatney also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: St. Clair kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 24 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.7 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 9.
