Basketball Recap: Analy Takes a Loss

Analy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 69-22 loss at the hands of the Maria Carrillo Pumas. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Pumas this season, with their most recent loss being a 64-21 defeat back in January.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Shawnessy Conway-ONeil, who posted nine points.

Analy's loss dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Maria Carrillo, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.

Analy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 75-36 defeat against Cardinal Newman on the 7th. As for Maria Carrillo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-40 victory against Rancho Cotate on the 7th.
