Baseball Game Preview: Cahokia Comanches vs. Carbondale Terriers

Cahokia is 0-10 against Carbondale since May of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Comanches will host the Terriers at 4:30 p.m. Cahokia has given up an average of 15.3 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Cahokia came up short against Marion on Tuesday, falling 17-2.

Meanwhile, Carbondale made easy work of Vienna on Monday and carried off an 11-5 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Terriers.

CJ Robison was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2025. Bradyn Schimpf was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Carbondale always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .513. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Carbondale's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Cahokia, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
