Baseball Recap: Antioch Comes Up Short

After soaring to 20 runs the game before, Antioch was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Heritage Patriots. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost eight in a row.

Antioch saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Arjen Ruiz-Real, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Antioch's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Heritage, they pushed their record up to 15-7-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Patriots beat Antioch by a score of 12-2 on Thursday.
