Basketball Recap: Tyrone Takes a Loss

Tyrone lost against Punxsutawney back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tyrone Golden Eagles fell just short of the Punxsutawney Chucks by a score of 52-49. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tyrone's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Punxsutawney, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Tyrone Golden Eagles take on the Bald Eagle Area Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Punxsutawney has already played their next contest (against Bradford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
