Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Scotts Valley walked away with it. They breezed past the Mercy Bears to the tune of 68-14 on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for the Falcons, who have now won 18 contests in a row.

It was another big night for Samantha Rebbert, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 steals. Rebbert is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Hanna Shehorn, who posted 12 points in addition to eight boards and four steals.

Scotts Valley pushed their record up to 23-2 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.1 points. As for Mercy, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.

Looking ahead, Scotts Valley will square off against Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Scotts Valley's defense has only allowed 29.8 points per game this season, so Notre Dame's offense will have their work cut out for them. Mercy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
