Recap: Los Altos Eagles vs. El Primero Lobos
On Tuesday, Los Altos really took it to El Primero for the full four quarters, racking up a 58-3 victory on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-1.
Los Altos found their leader in underclassman Ella McFarlane, who scored 19 points along with 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Macy Watson, who scored 8 points along with 3 blocks.
The win got Los Altos back to even at 1-1. As for El Primero, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Los Altos will face off against Valley Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Valley Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Tuesday. El Primero won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Watsonville at 3:30 p.m. on November 29th. Watsonville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than El Primero in California (Watsonville is ranked 310th, while El Primero is ranked 723rd).
