Football Game Preview: Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes vs. Klein Collins Tigers + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Maximus The Great Denson and Braydon Schoggin are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes will square off against the Klein Collins Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Duncanville is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.

Duncanville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 43-6 win over Rockwall-Heath. With the Panthers and Pantherettes ahead 29-6 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Trenton Yancey had an outrageously good game as he picked up 108 receiving yards and two scores, and also rushed for 79 yards and a pair of TDs. That's the most receiving yards he has posted since back in September. Duncanville also got a significant boost from Ayson Theus, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 129 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Duncanville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 373 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Klein Collins didn't have too much trouble with The Woodlands on Saturday as they won 42-27.

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Schoggin and Jack Daulton. Schoggin had a great game and threw for 193 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Meanwhile, Daulton was balling out in the loss, throwing for 198 yards and three TDs, while also rushing for 76 yards and one score.

Duncanville's record now sits at 9-1. As for Klein Collins, their record is now 11-1.

Saturday's contest might be decided on the ground. Duncanville has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 153.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Klein Collins struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 265.6 rushing yards.
