Softball Recap: Salina Comes Up Short

Salina was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They fell 8-4 to the Keys Cougars. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Salina's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Keys, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, Salina and Keys will both be playing Wyandotte the next time they take the field. The Cougars will head out to face the Bears at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
