Soccer Recap: Centennial's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Wednesday

It's playoff time, and Centennial had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Starr's Mill Panthers on Wednesday. Given Centennial's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 17th, while Starr's Mill are ranked 132nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Centennial is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Starr's Mill, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.

As of now, neither Centennial nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
