Softball Recap: Lincoln County Red Devils vs. Lakeside Panthers
Lincoln County had lost five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped down to 0-6 to make it six. They came up short against the Lakeside Panthers, falling 14-1. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.
Lincoln County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Allie Drake Robertson, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
As for Lakeside, their record is now 2-4. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their two-run performance the game before.

Coming up, Lincoln County will host Putnam County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeside will be paying especially close attention to the Red Devils' match: after the Red Devils face off against Hephzibah, they'll take on Lakeside again at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
