Baseball Game Preview: Trinity Classical Academy Knights vs. El Rancho Dons

The Trinity Classical Academy Knights will challenge the El Rancho Dons at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Trinity Classical Academy will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Trinity Classical Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They skirted past Troy 5-3. Five seems to be a good number for the Knights as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The team relied heavily on Quinn Minyard, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in April of 2025.

Meanwhile, El Rancho owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over Northwood.

Not much got past Xavier Contreras, who gave up just four hits and racked up six Ks to keep Northwood off the board.

On the hitting side, David Padilla was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Athan Rodriguez, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.

Trinity Classical Academy's record is now 17-11. As for El Rancho, their record now sits at 18-12.
