Soccer Recap: Virginia School for the Deaf & Blind Triumphs

While Virginia School for the Deaf & Blind's win against Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Fox Defenders sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Fighting Hornet on Thursday. The score was all tied up 2-2 at the break, but Virginia School for the Deaf & Blind were the better team in the second half.

Virginia School for the Deaf & Blind will face off against Appalachian Christian School at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf will be paying especially close attention to the Fox Defenders' matchup: after the Fox Defenders face off against Delaware School for the Deaf, they'll take on Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf again at 4:00 p.m. on October 14.
