Basketball Recap: York County Tech Beats Antietam for Their Fourth Straight Win

York County Tech entered their tilt with Antietam on Wednesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They snuck past the Antietam Mountaineers with a 31-25 victory.

York County Tech got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Anna Foster out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. With that strong performance, Foster is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game. Another player making a difference was Faith Atwater, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 18 boards.

York County Tech smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 28 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in seven consecutive matchups.

York County Tech's victory bumped their record up to 5-17. As for Antietam, they dropped their record down to 1-8-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
