Basketball Recap: Dos Palos Piles Up the Points Against Minarets

Dos Palos's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They blew past the Minarets Mustangs, posting a 56-25 win. The Broncos' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Leading Dos Palos to victory were Brionte Neal and Jayla Bland. Neal posted 21 points, while Bland put up 13 points. Those 13 points gave Bland a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Karina Tapia, who earned six points.

Dos Palos' record now sits at 2-6. As for Minarets, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Dos Palos wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 44-30 victory against Le Grand on the 17th. As for Minarets, they will take on Yosemite in a tournament on Friday.
