Football Recap: Hazen Comes Up Short

The matchup between Hazen and Bearden on Friday hardly resembled the 14-12 effort from their previous meeting. The Hornets fell 34-25 to the Bears. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Hazen's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Bearden, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hazen will take on England at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bearden, they will challenge Baptist Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
