Football Game Preview: Stockton Tigers vs. Rawlins County Buffaloes + How To Watch

Stockton hasn't had much luck against Rawlins County recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Stockton is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They had to suffer through a 60-14 loss at the hands of Hoxie. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly 46 points.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 58-20, which was the final score in Rawlins County's tilt against Hill City on Friday.

Despite the defeat, Rawlins County saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Dominique Paz rushed for 178 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 36 yards and one TD. Those 178 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Paz.

Even if they lost, Rawlins County's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Owen Bowles, Tucker Prideaux, and Daylan Fairchild, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Stockton's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Rawlins County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Stockton took a serious blow against Rawlins County when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 58-12. Thankfully for the Tigers, Dorian Culwell (who rushed for 134 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
