Atlantic hadn't done well against Roosevelt recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Trojans won by a set and slipped past the Roughriders 2-1. While the Trojans didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-25), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The win made it two in a row for Atlantic and bumps their season record up to 7-3. As for Roosevelt, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Atlantic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Grand View Christian on the 6th. As for Roosevelt, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Knoxville on the 6th.
