Baseball Recap: Derby Panthers vs. Dodge City Red Demons
It's playoff time, and Derby had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Dodge City Red Demons on Tuesday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Red Demons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Jace Hambleton was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2025. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. That hit marked the first that he has got this season.
