Baseball Recap: Dougherty Comes Up Short

Dougherty fell victim to Peach County and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 15-0 to Peach County. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Peach County this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-9 last Tuesday.

Dougherty's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-5. As for Peach County, the victory was the 21st in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-2.

Looking ahead, Dougherty will be playing in front of their home fans against Southwest DeKalb at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Trojans are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Peach County, they will welcome Veterans at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
