The Riverside Prep Silver Knights had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.3 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged University Prep out 46-43. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Riverside Prep has posted yet this season.

It was another big night for Mya Graham, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 13 games she's played. Kayriel Myles was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 12 rebounds and five steals.

Riverside Prep is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season. As for University Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverside Prep will take on Hesperia Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hesperia Christian is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for University Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy's defense has only allowed 29.5 points per game this season, so University Prep's offense will have their work cut out for them.
