Basketball Recap: Big Valley Christian Comes Up Short

Big Valley Christian was the 48-36 winner over Stockton Christian when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Big Valley Christian Lions took a 30-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stockton Christian Eagles on Monday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Among those leading the charge was Jami Araya, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Kayla Sanchez, who had seven points.

Big Valley Christian's record now sits at 3-7. As for Stockton Christian, their record is now 3-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Big Valley Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Turlock Christian at 5:00 p.m. on December 30th. As for Stockton Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Delta at 5:00 p.m. on December 23rd.
