Football Game Recap: Minneapolis North vs. Columbia Heights

Minneapolis North won the last time they faced Columbia Heights, and things went their way on Friday, too. Everything went Minneapolis North's way against Columbia Heights as they made off with a 38-6 win. Followers of Minneapolis North probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected five blowout victories.

Minneapolis North's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 16 first-half points. Meanwhile, Columbia Heights couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 16-0 heading into the break. Minneapolis North put the game away in the third quarter with 16 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense. The victory bumped their record up to 5-0. The loss dropped Columbia Heights' record to 3-2.

Next week Minneapolis North take on Brooklyn Center at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins. Columbia Heights will be playing at home against Minneapolis South at at 7:00 PM. Neither of these teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable defeat.
