Soccer Recap: Camanche Comes Up Short

Camanche was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Davenport North Wildcats, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Camanche can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 173rd, while Davenport North are ranked 20th).

Camanche's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Davenport North, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4-1 record this season.

Camanche will challenge Davenport West at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Camanche are facing Davenport West at the right time seeing as Davenport West are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Davenport North, they have already played their next match, a 10-0 victory against Clinton on the 1st.
