Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Brianna Franco and Kaylee Salce Lead Chino Hills to Victory

There's no place like home for Chino Hills, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Upland Highlanders/Scots by a score of 42-34 on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Huskies also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Chino Hills was led to victory by Kaylee Salce and Brianna Franco. Salce almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten boards, while Franco posted nine points along with six rebounds and three steals. Salce is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Audrey Yoo, who earned 12 points.

Chino Hills' win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Upland, they now have a losing record at 11-12.

Chino Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Upland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 68-24 loss against Rancho Cucamonga on the 24th.
