Football Recap: Detroit Lakes Comes Up Short

Detroit Lakes lost against Willmar back in November of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lakers had to suffer through a 55-7 loss at the hands of the Cardinals. The Lakers just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Detroit Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Willmar, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Detroit Lakes will challenge Becker at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Willmar, they will take on Big Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
