Mather is 1-9 against Clemente since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Rangers will head out on the road to challenge the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. Mather is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Mather came up short against ITW David Speer Academy and fell 6-2.

Mather saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Roy Beard, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Meanwhile, Clemente came up short against Farragut on Sunday, falling 13-4. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Admirals: they've now lost four in a row.

Mather's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Clemente, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Everything went Mather's way against Clemente in their previous meeting back in April, as Mather made off with a 21-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rangers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
