Basketball Game Preview: Antelope Valley Antelopes vs. Littlerock Lobos

The Antelope Valley Antelopes will challenge the Littlerock Lobos at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Antelope Valley has seven straight wins, Littlerock has 24 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Antelope Valley will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Knight, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Antelope Valley simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Knight 73-27. The Antelopes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Antelope Valley had a senior duo take command as Ariana Soil posted 27 points and Niya Price earned 26 points. Soil's evening made it 28 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Leandriah Zachary was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Meanwhile, Littlerock took a blow against Eastside on Thursday, falling 75-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Lobos were not able to get on the board.

Antelope Valley's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29 points. As for Littlerock, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Everything came up roses for Antelope Valley against Littlerock in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 75-19 win. In that contest, Antelope Valley amassed a halftime lead of 44-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
