Preview: Natomas Nighthawks vs. Florin Panthers
The Natomas Nighthawks will be playing at home against the Florin Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Monday, Natomas didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Mustangs, but they still walked away with a 35-31 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Natomas.
Meanwhile, Florin came into Wednesday's match having lost 20 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They pulled ahead with a 35-34 photo finish over Valley. Florin's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Natomas' win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Florin, their victory ended a 13-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-19.
Everything came up roses for Natomas against the Panthers in their previous matchup back in January as the squad secured a 61-12 victory. With Natomas ahead 33-5 at the half, the match was all but over already.
