Overton's record is now 5-1. As for Anselmo-Merna, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Overton and Pleasanton will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Anselmo-Merna, they will head out to take on Mullen at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
