Softball Game Preview: Centennial Knights vs. Kell Longhorns

Centennial hasn't had much luck against Kell recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Knights will take on the Longhorns at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Centennial played against South Gwinnett on Wednesday and won via forfeit.

Kell came out on top against Westminster on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run sixth inning. The Longhorns sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Wildcats. The Longhorns haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Kell's victory bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Centennial, their win bumped their record up to 6-17.

Centennial couldn't quite finish off Kell when the teams last played on September 11th and fell 3-1. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
