Manhattan had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their defense stepped up to hand the Olathe Northwest Ravens a 27-0 shutout on Saturday. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Finn Watson had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 132 yards and two TDs while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 118 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Watson was just one part of a punishing run game: Manhattan was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 273 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 153 rushing yards in four consecutive contests.

Manhattan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.9 points over those games. As for Olathe Northwest, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-4.
