Soccer Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

The matchup between Mountain View and Norcross on Tuesday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Mountain View Bears took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Norcross Blue Devils. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

Mountain View dropped their record down to 3-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Norcross, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain View will challenge Dacula at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Dacula will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Mountain View surely won't give up without a fight. As for Norcross, they will square off against Meadowcreek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meadowcreek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.
