Basketball Recap: WISH Academy Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only WISH Academy walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the USC Hybrid Trojans 61-23. The Owls have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 22 points or more this season.

WISH Academy's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points over those games. As for USC Hybrid, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.

Looking ahead, WISH Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Animo Watts at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. WISH Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. USC Hybrid does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
