Soccer Game Preview: McNair vs. Weston Ranch

The McNair Eagles will take on the Weston Ranch Cougars at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. McNair's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 11 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

McNair fell victim to Tokay and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 8-0 to the Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1030th, while the Tigers are ranked 190th).

Meanwhile, Weston Ranch managed to keep up with Bear Creek until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Weston Ranch came up short against Bear Creek, falling 4-0. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Bruins recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

McNair's loss dropped their record down to 2-10-2. As for Weston Ranch, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
