Soccer Game Preview: JW North vs. Colton

The JW North Huskies and the Colton Yellowjackets will compete for holiday cheer at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While JW North's victory against Norte Vista wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Huskies' defense stepped up to hand the Braves a 1-0 shutout on Friday. Given JW North's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 381st, while Norte Vista are ranked 799th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Colton earned a 2-0 win over Cajon on Monday. Colton haven't had any issues with Cajon recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Colton's win bumped their record up to 6-0-3. As for JW North, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2-3.
