Basketball Recap: Coastal Christian Skates Past Coast Union with Ease

Coastal Christian won the last time they faced Coast Union, and things went their way on Friday too. The Coastal Christian Conquerors claimed a resounding 68-8 win over the Coast Union Broncos. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Conquerors.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Coastal Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carly Starkovich, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 steals. Those 12 steals gave Starkovich a new career-high. Jenna Starkovich was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 19 points and nine boards.

Coastal Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coastal Christian is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Cate at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coast Union, they will venture away from home to square off against Maricopa at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Coast Union is looking for their season's first win.
