Softball Recap: First Preparatory Christian Academy Takes a Loss

First Preparatory Christian Academy fell victim to Liberty County and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 13-0 to the Panthers. The Highlanders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

First Preparatory Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Liberty County, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-10.

First Preparatory Christian Academy and Liberty County could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Highlanders will square off against David Emanuel Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (416 vs. 117). Meanwhile, Liberty County (ranked 246th) will meet Long County (ranked 82nd) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
