Softball Recap: Byng Takes a Loss

Byng came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Bethany Bronchos, falling 9-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bronchos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-1 on Thursday.

Byng's defeat dropped their record down to 22-13. As for Bethany, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-12 record this season.

Byng does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bethany, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-3 win against Jones on the 6th.
