Softball Recap: ThunderRidge Comes Up Short

ThunderRidge had taken Arapahoe down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Grizzlies came up short against the Warriors, falling 11-1. The Grizzlies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Ellie Haiar was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run. Aubrey Conant was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple.

ThunderRidge now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Arapahoe, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. ThunderRidge will venture away from home to face off against Chatfield at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arapahoe, they will head out to take on Palmer Ridge at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Bears have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
