Basketball Game Preview: San Luis Obispo Tigers vs. Santa Maria Saints

The San Luis Obispo Tigers will face off against the Santa Maria Saints at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Saturday, San Luis Obispo lost to Saugus on the road by a 48-31 margin. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Santa Maria made easy work of Greenfield on Saturday and carried off a 46-21 win. Given the Saints' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 486th, while the Bruins are ranked 1049th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

San Luis Obispo's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Santa Maria, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.

San Luis Obispo beat Santa Maria 47-34 in their previous meeting back in January. Will San Luis Obispo repeat their success, or does Santa Maria have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
