Soccer Game Preview: Nipomo vs. St. Joseph

The Nipomo Titans will head out to challenge the St. Joseph Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

St. Joseph will have to contend with a Nipomo squad hungry for a win, something the team hasn't seen yet this season. Nipomo took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cabrillo two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph didn't have quite enough to beat La Habra last Saturday and fell 3-2. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gabriella Dominguez and Brooklyn Hageman scored both of St. Joseph's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

St. Joseph's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Nipomo, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8-1.
