Dorman dropped down to 5-2 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Spartanburg Vikings by a score of 33-30. The Cavaliers gained 129 more yards on the day, but it was the Vikings that made the best use of them.

Dorman's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Nick Means, who gained 131 total yards, and Meek Slydell, who threw for 165 yards and one TD.

As for Spartanburg, they now have a winning record of 4-3. The victory continues a trend for them in their matchups with Dorman: they've now won five in a row.
